Making A Purchase
When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Quality
We've taken great care to choose jewellery that has been designed and created to meet the highest professional standards. However, please be aware that due to the handcrafted nature of our jewellery and the fact that many of the pieces we sell are unique, composition and colours may vary slightly from that shown.

We want to do everything possible to ensure you are happy with your purchase but if you are unhappy in any way, please do contact us and we'll arrange a refund or exchange for you. See our Returns Policy for more details.
Shipping And Handling
Due to the nature of our product we send all packages by Royal Mail first class recorded delivery.

Current postal charges are as follows:

UK Standard Delivery - Royal Mail First Class recorded delivery 1-2 days - £1.50
Europe - Royal Mail International signed for 3-5 days - £5.95
Rest of the World - Royal Mail International signed for 4-10 days - £5.95

Special Delivery
If you require your jewellery urgently please contact us as we can arrange for Special Delivery (next day) on request. The current charge for Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK (to arrive next day before 1pm) is £5.95 and a signature will be required. Please note that this service has to be requested before 2pm - if it is requested later then your order will be dispatched the following day by Special Delivery. Please note the Post Office do not guarantee Special Deliveries on a Saturday in every part of the country.

Late or Lost Deliveries
If you experience a problem with your delivery please contact us and we will do our best to help you trace it. We will provide you with the recorded delivery number so that you can enquire about your delivery at your local post office. In the even of a non delivery we can only replace or refund the order after 15 working days when the Post Office are happy to classify the parcel is lost. Jewel Garden cannot be held responsible for late or lost delivery.

Gift Boxes and Packaging
We wrap your jewellery carefully in tissue paper and pack it in one of our Jewel Garden Gift Boxes. We use postage 'jiffy' bags to protect your parcel.
N.B. All of our packaging is made from recycled content and is fully recyclable.
Delivery Schedule
If your item is in stock we aim to have it packaged and despatched within 1-2 days. Please note that our offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays - this means that any orders placed over the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday morning.

If your item is out of stock we will e-mail to advise you of an expected delivery date.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
Protecting the safety of your credit card details is important to us. We use the world recognised Protx® system to process payment whereby your credit card details are transferred directly from your computer to Protx's® secure server using SSL encryption. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which in plain English means it is a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to Protx's servers.

You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, Maestro or Solo. We regret that we are unable to accept Electron or Amex cards. Please note we do not accept payment by PayPal.

Jewel Garden do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

Returns Policy
We hope that you will love your jewellery. But if something isn't right, let us know. Please inform us within 14 days of receipt and we will be happy to arrange a refund or exchange for you. We ask that you return all items complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Items returned outside these guidelines will only be subject to credit. A refund will not be possible if the item/items arrive damaged because the original packaging has not been used.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of earrings for health and hygiene reasons. We will also be unable to refund any items that have been specially created for you outside of our current range. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item/s to us. When returning items we strongly recommend that you obtain proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. On receipt of faulty items we will arrange for an exchange.
