 About UsJewel Garden was created in 2006 by Charlotte Pritchard. Charlotte has always loved seeking out beautiful and unusual jewellery to wear and was inspired to create this website after friends and family kept asking her where she got her jewellery from. Charlotte felt sure that others would like the opportunity to wear gorgeous, unique and individual jewellery and so the seeds for Jewel Garden were sown.
The jewellery we sell on Jewel Garden is not mass produced and is handcrafted by skilled designers - you can therefore be sure that jewellery you buy from us will not be seen in high street shops. One of the aims of Jewel Garden is to seek out talented jewellery designers and in order to achieve this we regularly visit trade shows, craft fairs and galleries.
Our other main aim is to run our business in a responsible way so that you know we are making efforts to minimise our environmental impacts, making our products accessible to all and working with our business partners in a transparent manner. We promise we will report regularly on our efforts but recognise that we don't have all the answers so if you have any ideas or suggestions on what we could do better - please let us know! We can't guarantee that we will be able to do everything but if we do follow an idea we will give you a small present by way of thanks.
Our Commitment
We offer a full returns policy - if you aren't happy neither are we. We will be honest with you about issues such as stock levels and delivery times.
We care about the Environment - we will measure and report on environmental concerns concerning climate change and reduce these impacts and then consider carbon offsetting for the remainder. Packaging is also important and we will try and minimise excess packaging as well as encouraging the use of items with recycled content (that are also recyclable). If you want to know more about where our jewellery comes from we will try to find out.
We believe in accessibility - we believe everyone has the right to see our products and we will try and ensure the highest level of accessibility for our website.
We want to work with people who think like us - we believe responsible business is in everyone's best interest so will work with designers and suppliers to do what we can together.
The jewellery trade is fragmented but we will look along the supply chain to see where things have come from and source responsibly as best we can.
We want to support our community - we get a lot from our community and want to give something back so we promise to give 1% of our turnover every year to our selected charity partners.
